This is the beginning class which teaches the girls the very basics of gymnastics so that they can later move on to the higher levels. The class includes stretching, ballet, and working with equipment. This is a fun way for the girls to become interested in the sport. Dance is also incorporated into this class so the students improve their coordination skills. After completing this class, the girls can move on to the more serious classes at IRG.

Recreational class Group 2

Girls 7-12 years old who are beginners and are new to rhythmic gymnastics. The introductory level of this incredibly beautiful and elegant Olympic sport is designed to teach young girls how to become more flexible while working with a ribbon, ball, hoop, rope, or clubs in a professional routine. They are taught new skills that they can use later on in higher levels of gymnastics, or for their own personal dreams. The girls are taught dance, ballet, and other necessary skills. Many of these gymnasts gain confidence and become so interested in the sport, that they go on and excel in the higher levels. This is a way for new gymnasts to become familiar with the sport, get into shape, and gain skills, all in a fun way!
